Megan Thackaberry, PA-C
Megan Thackaberry is a board-certified physician assistant (PA-C), and a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Originally from Virginia, Megan graduated from The College of William and Mary in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Public Health. She then went on to earn her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Lincoln Memorial University in Knoxville, TN; a PA program with enhanced focus on surgical training. Megan is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), Colorado Academy of Physician Assistants (CAPA), Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), and the Colorado Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (CSDP).
Prior to becoming a PA, Megan discovered her love of dermatology while working as a medical assistant at a dermatology practice in Boulder, CO. During her PA training, she completed three extra months of dermatology clinical rotations. She is passionate about delivering high quality care to people of all ages, especially concerning preventive care, medical dermatology and cosmetic concerns. She strives to stay current on new research, medications, and techniques to best serve her patients. Megan is detail-oriented and enjoys working with her hands and learning new skills. She is dedicated to ensuring that every patient gets exceptional medical care at every visit.
Outside of dermatology, Megan is an avid volleyball player, probably less-than-average ability skier (but improving every season), and enjoys strength training. Megan is talented at cooking and baking and enjoys sharing her creations with anyone who will eat them. She also enjoys wine tasting, visiting farmers markets, spending time with her husband, gardening with her in-laws, and traveling the world with her family.
